How You Can Help
Every person deserves a new chapter — a fresh start.
At Second Chance Heroes, we’re building a pathway for individuals experiencing homelessness and young adults aging out of foster care to reclaim their futures through military enlistment. But we can’t do it alone.
Whether you donate, spread the word, or introduce us to the right connection — you become part of the mission.
Connections
Our biggest need right now is building connections with:
Individuals involved in foster care, social work, or school counseling
Teachers, case managers, and community leaders who can pass along information about our program to the young adults who need it most
If you work in one of these fields — or know someone who does — please reach out. A single introduction can change the course of a life.
Corporate Sponsorships
Sponsorships from businesses and organizations help us:
Host impactful events
Cover high-cost needs like medical, dental, or behavioral health services
Provide transportation to appointments, training, or interviews
Lay the groundwork for future housing solutions
If your business would like to partner with us, we’d love to talk.
Donations of All Kinds
Every donation matters. Current needs include:
Monetary contributions
Raffle items or services for fundraisers
Legal guidance for candidate contracts
A living space or housing option for candidates during the enlistment process
Resource donations like backpacks, gym shoes, hygiene items, or warm winter clothing
Preparing for Housing
Our next big step is securing housing. Once we have access to an apartment or home, we can provide a safe, stable environment for candidates to focus on their goals and complete the enlistment process.
Volunteer in Your Community
While our direct volunteer needs are currently met, we encourage you to get involved in your own community. Host a drive. Share our mission. Offer a ride. Encourage someone who's struggling to believe in their second chance.
